Hon. Bassey James Asanye’s Appointment as National Contact and Mobilization Officer AATSG

The recent passing of Hon. William Anan, our esteemed National Contact and Mobilization Officer, has left a significant void within the National Executive Committee of the AATSG. With his departure, the Group faces the challenge of maintaining continuity in leadership and ensuring that our mission to promote the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not only sustained but enhanced. To fill this critical gap, the search for a successor with both the experience and vision required to navigate the complexities of our objectives is paramount.

The loss of a leader can be a pivotal moment for any organization. It often brings uncertainty and instills concerns about the future direction of our initiatives. In a time where effective mobilization and strategic outreach are essential to our success, the Committee understands that we must act swiftly and decisively. The need for a capable individual who possesses the requisite expertise and a profound understanding in the mission of the renewed Hope agenda of Mr president cannot be overstated. A misstep in this transition could hinder our progress and undermine the foundational work that has been laid by our predecessors.

After extensive deliberation, the National Advisory Committee, in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, has unanimously agreed to appoint Hon. Bassey James Asanye as the new National Contact and Mobilization Officer. Hon. Bassey brings with him a wealth of experience accumulated over four decades, including his current pursuit of a Ph.D. in Gender and Security Services. His academic background, coupled with his practical experience, positions him as an ideal leader to advance our mission.

As a distinguished Fellow of the International Academy for Gender and Peace (FIAGP) and a Certified Associate of the Institute of Auctioneers in Nigeria, Hon. Bassey’s credentials are exemplary. His memberships in various prestigious institutions, including the Nigeria Institute of Management and the Institute of Management Consultants, reflect his commitment to professional excellence and his dedication to the field. Furthermore, his association with the Industrial Security and Safety of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Administrators showcases his multifaceted approach to management and security.

The appointment of Hon. Bassey James Asanye represents not merely a transition but an opportunity for revitalization and growth within the AATSG. His extensive background and forward-thinking outlook are poised to guide us into a new era of achievement, ensuring that our objectives in gender and security services are met with diligence and innovation. Let us embrace this change with optimism as we look forward to a productive partnership under his leadership.

Signed.
